ARY Network is thought to be planning a return to the UK in March or April.

T h e company filed for bankruptcy after losing a defamation case against rival GEO News wh ich racked up a bill close to £3m.

Ofcom issued and served a notice on ARY Network on 1 February 2017 under section 238(4) of the Communications Act 2003 revoking all six of its licences with immediate effect.

Interestingly, a company called New Vision has acquired one of the old Sky EPG slots, and is rumoured to be planning to broadcast shows from ARY Network, subject to clearance from Ofcom.

New Vision TV already had a licence in the UK and thus ARY Network is thought to have used it as an opportunity to acquire it for its own re-launch.
